Our client is based in New Vennep and together we are searching for an Embedded Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing and testing software that makes a difference in the agricultural and mechanical engineering sector.
What you’ll do:
Design and develop software prototypes;
Building software for test systems, diagnostic tools and internal development tools to support the organization;
Support in testing test machines and ensure comprehensive documentation of the development process;
Supporting production and support departments during product introductions;
Advising and supporting customers in the field of mechatronics;
Monitor the progress of assigned customer projects, including timely delivery with the right quality and functionality;
Cost monitoring and advice to the project manager and/or R&D Manager.
Skills and Experience:
Experience in software development for embedded systems in real-time applications;
Knowledge of software development in Windows and/or Linux environments and experience with tools such as Visual C++, .NET and/or Borland C++ Builder;
Experience with hardware design, knowledge of CAN bus systems is an advantage;
A customer-oriented, analytical and structured working attitude;
Excellent command of Dutch and English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
