We are looking for DevOps engineers who are able to maintain the payment system of the Dutch Public Transport for millions of users. You are responsible for a high-availability system where improving the user experience is always paramount. Of course you don't do this alone, the tech team now includes 11 ops engineers, to create a cool product together with you. You also contribute to the realization of further automation of the work process.
What are you going to do
Translate incidents and issues into solutions and automate
Working on innovative solutions within a highly trained engineering team
Further development and continuous improvement of the software in the back office, front office and interfaces (APIs)
You look for technical and performance improvements in the chosen solution and at the same time you ensure that the required documentation is created and automation standards are adhered to in our Agile environment.
Working in an agile/scrum team
Share and expand your knowledge through brainstorming sessions with your colleagues
To learn; we don't expect you to have everything you need, but we do expect you to be curious to gain the right knowledge.
What we ask
🚀You have a background in devops engineering roles on the operations side. Or you come from system administration and have worked in technical support roles level 1, level 2, level 3.
🚀Extensive knowledge of scripting such as Bash, Powershell and Linux.
🚀You have experience with Docker, Oracle ASM, Kibana, Logstash, Ansible
🚀And perhaps even Terraform, TomCat, Elastic, Grafana, Kafka
🚀You like to learn and also like to teach your colleagues new things;
🚀Good command of the English and preferably Dutch language.
