What you’ll do:
As a Software Automation Tester you will work within the CMS IVVQ team. This team is responsible for testing and qualifying the combat management systems. However, this role will transcend the IVVQ team and you will apply your knowledge across the entire Software Engineering department.
As a level ¾ Java Software Automaton Engineer, you will be responsible to put test automation on the map within software engineering. Together with the team manager IVVQ you will define a test automation strategy. You will do the implementation thereof with a small test automation team to ensure better quality performance of the teams. You will work closely with the development teams and QA to implement testing strategies and ensure that automation solutions align with business needs.
Skills and Experience:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber etc.).
Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and non-functional testing.
Perform regression, performance, and load testing for complex Java applications.
Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and applications in various environments.
5+ years experience in Java based test automation
Strong knowledge of object oriented programming principles and software development lifecycle
Certification in test automation is a plus.
Over 5 years of Linux experience. Red Hat certification is a plus.

Education:
BA or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
