Business Architect

Our client is developing and implementing together with Translink the new ID-based ticketing system together with Translink. The goal is for every traveller to be able to check in and out with their cell phone, debit card, and credit card on all public transportation throughout the Netherlands. A number of transport companies are already live and in use with travellers, which will be rapidly scaled up this year.

The development of processing more and more transactions every day, for example billions per day, is still in full swing. It is cloud-based in a Oracle environment. We are working on the further innovation and optimization of this system. The delivery of new features, understanding issues and connecting to customer needs will go faster and faster.

With a DevOps way of working we work together with our international development and operations teams, the customer Translink and public transport operators, and suppliers like Oracle and Octopus. 

As a Business Architect, would you like to contribute to this innovative system, and to the transition to a new way of paying in public transport? This is your chance!

• Required foundation is a completed HBO/WO degree, preferably in IT business architecture, artificial intelligence, data analytics.

• Been independently responsible for several years in the role of business architect or program management of transaction processing systems.

• Knowledge of overall architecture and web applications. Want to understand complex systems. 

• Affinity with Hardware is a plus, such as memory write away, hard drive operation. 

• You have developed towards systems that process many transactions.

• Communicative skills, patient and proactive; these qualities allow you to work well with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience with Agile and DevOps way of working in multidisciplinary teams.

• You are used to working with diverse work cultures and communicating in English

• You must already be living in The Netherlands and within a commutable distance to Utrecht. Relocation is not supported.
